We just shipped stablecoins on @CashApp. Everything runs from your existing USD balance - no separate wallet, no managing multiple chains, no extra setup, and importantly no fees. Send and receive USDC on SOL, ETH, POL, and ARB. The most seamless integration in the world imo.

Mistakes happen. As a team, the important thing is to recognize it’s never an individuals’s fault — it’s the process, the culture, or the infra. In this case, there was a manual deploy step that should have been better automated. Our team has made a few improvements to the automation for next time, a couple more on the way.

If AI Labs keep on aqcuiring all the new cool dev framework companies, AI will maybe really be the new dev frameworks.

The funniest take is that I "failed" 43 times when people look at my GitHub repos and projects. Uhmm... no? Most of these are part of @openclaw, I had to build an army to make it useful. github.com/steipete/

Crypto will disrupt the very rails on which human society runs. It will change Money, the Internet, what we define as Common Knowledge, how we conduct ourselves in society. I strongly believe this. It’s not a question of if, but when.

Same feeling as a product person. For years, my constraint was execution capacity - lots of fun ideas, but building each required assembling eng and design teams. Hard and unscalable. With AI, I can now 'hire' a full team instantly. Massive scale unlocked...in theory. Because now there’s a new constraint: mastering how to orchestrate AI teams…the tools, workflows and product craft in this new world. Feels like there is no bigger lever than learning these skills. Channeling all my spare time and energy here.

I once built my own shell to understand my dear friend the computer. But I am getting replaced anyway.
I once built with my own malloc. And my own web server with terminating "/r/n/r/n"

Plasma or The hard challenges of being a new chain in 2025 and keeping capital As the year comes to an end, it is a good moment to look back at what shaped the interop landscape in 2025. We witnessed the launch of several new chains including @berachain, @unichain , @Plasma , @katana , and more recently @monad and @stable. Each of these launches was impressive. Unichain gathered more than one billion dollars in productive TVL within its first month. Berachain and Plasma reached more than five and ten billion dollars respectively. What has proven difficult is not attracting capital at launch, but rather keeping it on the chain once the initial incentives fade. 1. Unichain has lost about 80 percent of its DeFi TVL and around 50 percent of its stablecoin supply since its peak in July. 2.Berachain has seen a drawdown of roughly 90 percent in TVL since its peak in April. 3.Plasma’s Stablecoin Market Cap has fallen to one third of its peak level However, as opposed to the first two examples Plasma has held up remarkably well. Four months in, it's still top 6 in chain DeFi TVL, top 10 in bridge TVL, and top 10 in stablecoin market cap.
