Still can’t get used to how weird talking to Astra is.
Just had another situation where I discussed a task with Astra over several messages and then added one follow up question. It replied to the question and just stopped completely. It couldn’t give me any good reason why.
Opus 5.5 seems to be a big step forward in design and visual work. It did a really cool terminal aesthetic redesign of my blog with barely any course corrections.

SwiftUI isn’t native and here’s why SwiftUI apps may sometimes feel janky. It ditches the key element that made animations run so smoothly on iOS since the original iPhone: Core Animation.
In SwiftUI animations run in-app without CA backing. Block the main thread: SwiftUI ball stalls while UIKit’s keeps moving on the render server.
Astra is really bad at continuing work after a question or another message. Strong flashbacks to times when OpenAI models were useless for OpenClaw because they would just reply 'yes we should totally do it' and do nothing.
3D modeling in Astra is seriously next level compared to anything before. It took couple hours with zero follow ups and it made a perfect model of my pressure cooker.
Astra sessions in ChatGPT desktop can talk to each other. My agents invented a file lock system for updating a Blender model file.
