They didn't wait for paperwork.
They looked at the TV screen, saw their friend drowning, and committed the ultimate military sin:
UNAUTHORIZED ADVANCE.
“We’re going. NOW.”
They turned the massive nuclear carrier full throttle straight into the disaster zone.
Then came the hydrogen explosions at Fukushima.
Radiation plumes drifted across the Pacific.
Every foreign embassy told their citizens: RUN.
The US Embassy ordered an evacuation zone: STAY 50 MILES AWAY.
Did the Ronald Reagan turn around?
DID YOUR SAILORS RUN?
NOT. ONE. INCH.
Nineteen-year-old kids from Texas and Ohio stood on a freezing flight deck, radiation detectors in hand, launching helicopters into blizzards.
They hovered over submerged rooftops, pulling shivering mothers and babies out of the black water.
When Japanese refugees were brought aboard shivering in shock, your sailors gave up their own warm bunks and slept on the cold steel floor.
While the rest of the world ran away from Japan,
AMERICA CHARGED STRAIGHT INTO THE FIRE.
You didn't do it for a treaty.
You didn't do it for politicians.
You saw your friend bleeding, and you kicked the doors down to save us.

Pseudo-MAGAs screeching "We're DOOMED I'm not going to vote!" are the moral equivalent of the guy who cracks on a WWII submarine while the depth charges are dropping, as he runs around the boat yelling "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!!!!!!!"
You know what they do with that guy? They gag him, tie him up and shove him into the head, locking the door from the outside.
That way the actual patriots can get about their business in saving the boat.

BREAKING: Lancaster, Pennsylvania officials have BUSTED a large-scale fraudulent voter registration scheme that includes thousands of applications with the same handwriting, fake signatures, false addresses, etc
They discovered the same scheme in other Pennsylvania counties.
District Attorney Heather Adams revealed that the applications came from canvassers who were paid to obtain voter registrations, adding that "The majority of the applications were from residents in the city of Lancaster... The canvases themselves took place at various shopping centers, parking lots of grocery stores and businesses, sidewalks and parks."
"We are aware of at least two other counties that receive similar applications that are currently being investigated."
If you listen closely, the DA said the Clerk received the applications at or near the deadline to register to vote. That means the bad actors waited till the last minute so no one would notice. They would've used the fraudulent applications to commit mail-in ballot fraud without getting caught.
We better check the entire state of Pennsylvania, and we better see arrests NOW.
