Highway police successfully intercepted a white delivery truck in Petchaburi today, rescuing a 16-year-old intellectually disabled, pregnant girl and arresting the 38-year-old driver, Saichon.
The suspect had lured the victim from her home in Samut Sakhon via a friend-finding app, offering her 3,000 Baht for a drive. Once inside, he held her captive, committed indecent acts, and attempted to assault her while driving south.
The victim managed to secretly dial the 191 emergency hotline while the suspect was distracted. Police quickly launched a highway pursuit, blocking the vehicle and rescuing the crying teenager.
