New fomo short thesis copypasta
For everyone asking, here is my full $mrna dream thesis. all was recorded on the next YT vid but for u twitter folk The dates could be off but around these days October 4th: I wanted to speed up my stock video challenge so decided to dip my toes into options, scrolling thru my port everyone was turbo bullish on every stock except one. $MRNA, everyone and their mother could only talk about how over valued it is and how good of a short it was. All I know in stocks is that ppl complain non stop about how they got fucked. It sounds like everyone loses, and if everyone is losing, I should just fade them and it’s a lock? Oct 5th: I decided to buy some options, far out the money decently far out strike That night I had a dream that Moderna cured cancer and wicked to $275 in one day, my portfolio was worth $11,000,000 October 6th: they didn’t cure cancer and the stock went down so i decided to load more in October 8th: everyone on twitter called me the biggest idiot ever, that I should go short, this gave me turbo confidence that the stock had to go up cuz again, most ppl talk like geniuses behind their -80% all time port At this point I’m in for $250,000 on my initial 50k position Then I started asking Claude, “what would it take to get $MRNA to $275 in the next two months????” Claude told me that they had a big catalyst coming some meeting on the 24th reviewing their cancer trials I figured I’d bet on the side of my dream that they would cure cancer and it would rip Fast forward 14 days or so and the stock had ripped like 25+% all the way to my initial dreams target and it made me think, everyone knows this meeting is coming, if this news comes in anything other than 10x expectations, it’s fully priced in. The idea was that Monday it would dump regardless of how good their news was. Claude confirmed my idea. I texted my homie Tuesday night the plan to let it ride till Friday then at close flip to full port short Everything was according to plan until Wednesday close the stock ran up 5% then fell off a cliff last 10 mins. I was working so I couldn’t do anything but I texted my friend that was the top yesterday night. Last night I had a dream that $mrna ripped +22% today I thought it was a sign from God that I was wrong about the top being in and that I should trust my original swap end of market on Friday plan I checked my phone and it was giga down. My port down 200k almost had me fully in a panic, thinking, maybe the sell on the news was so obvious…. That they are selling days before the news I got too scared that the dump would happen so soon that I’d have no capital left to flip the port short come Friday. So I decided to take the loss and at least have $500k that I can try to catch the sell on the news dump. Went full port short under the guise that even if today is another 5% green, at least I’ll be in the position I had been seeking for a few days, confidently short going into the 24th And the rest, is some giga stroke of luck history, the news broke early somehow???? The most likely outcome for all traders would be what I was destined for. Rock solid thesis blown up by some unlucky bs. Lucky my panic this morning got to my head enough to break my original game plan In hindsight, this entire saga was beyond obvious Thanks for playing! NOT FINANCIAL ADVISE. IM JUST LEARNING AND GAMBLING. BUT ALSO PUT SUM RESPECT ON THE THESIS. I got full receipts of every concept along the way, to be posted in the next yt vid. (After I full port SPY 0DTE

You don’t understand how dedicated those at the helm are Heard a story about some crazy lunatic who waited outside of a building for Steven and attacked him once he was outside Steven shrugged off the attack and biked to whop HQ to run a board meeting shortly after with a black eye You cannot comprehend how badly they want it
Whop has raised $200M in Series D funding at a $5.1B valuation, backed by @sequoia and @shopify. It really feels like we are barely touching the tip of the iceberg in a market larger than anyone can imagine. We first launched Whop as a better way for us to sell sneaker bots, one of the most niche types of desktop software out there. Total TAM? Probably $20,000 per day. Who cares, tiny market. But, what people discounted is the idea that there were actually 70,000 other markets exactly like that one. Beyond the investment itself, I am especially excited to welcome legendary silicon valley investor @dougleone to our board of directors. Doug and the sequoia team are nothing but a brilliant, resourceful, and principled group of people. My co-founder Cameron and I started building on Shopify when we were 13 years old. Shopify is one of the most impactful all-in-one cloud ecosystems ever created; @tobi has pioneered modern entrepreneurship the way we know it and we are thrilled to have him in our corner. We have a tenet at Whop to be the dumbest in the room and I am very grateful that this has recently become a lot easier. We are focused on markets, scale economies, and progressive media. If that is up your alley, please message me directly. The $200M raised will support our expansion as we build economic infrastructure for the next century, continuing on our mission of delivering everyone an income.

I’ve talked with over 20 different teams building launchpads and they’ve all asked me the same thing: How do we get initial traction? Here are my off the top thoughts regarding launchpads. Have worked with several different teams over the past few months all building different iterations 1- You need differentiation. What’s different about this? If your plan is to create another stock paired launch pad that is a clone of Stonk or Pump, it’s going to be exceptionally difficult to explain why traders should use your platform over the winners. Different branding isn’t enough. What is actually unique on a product basis? Are there different tokenomic structures? Do you have a way of galvanizing attention and capital? Is there a novel pairing mechanism? Traders are looking for something new and fresh 2- I would argue this is the most important. You need a runner. A coin on your platform has to run high enough to generate enough attention for more capital to come in and participate. Traders will often “value” your launchpad by taking a cursory glance at how your launchpad token is faring (if you have one) and the tokens that have launched from it If you don’t have a runner, you’re essentially DOA. There are several different strategies you can employ to try and achieve this, and several work, but you need to ensure you have motion on launch via runner. 3- You need value accrual to tokens. The main way platforms implement this is via flywheel with buybacks, but there are other more creative ways as well. I would look to @papertrade_xyz for an interesting way of bootstrapping liquidity - they have a very interesting design and I expect we’ll see more experiments leveraging that same design Final - there’s more than these three points that’s required to achieve success, but I can confidently say if you don’t implement the above you will definitively not be successful

Stonk - every coin gets a meme coin Really interesting aspect of @LaunchOnSF is the ability to intertwine different communities by tying a meme coin to the underlying We’ve seen absurd combinations that have been incredibly fun to witness Solana

amazing excerpt. love when concepts like this can be applied to multiple dimensions or verticals. the best companies in the world came from founders who full ported (time, energy, money, conscious thought, literally all resources) important to analyze the state of the world, your edge, and then commit with conviction instead of trying to surf every possible wave
Life-changing wisdom from Jez on position sizing, portfolio strategy, and recovering from major drawdowns. Really improved my ability to size up on high conviction trades and avoid low EV marginal spots.

I built Trickshot over the weekend, a tool that lets you rewatch your best plays. Trenching has always felt like a game, and pnl cards are just the leaderboard at the end of the match. But it doesn’t show the drawdowns you had to hold through or the euphoric green candles you TPed on. This is @MINHxDYNASTY's house-making trade on solana:ApZuxdpzMrbEYTGEzeY9afh5pj9d6qPRJCTgQYiipbKg Built only with Helius. the next iteration of creation is a combination of social, finance, and entertainment you might think, ofc this will end with some kind of solana endorsement and you’d be half right there will be winning creators from plays throughout the ecosystem on every chain think about how history can inform the future and what asymmetry is in front of you right now what has all of the key ingredients to capitalize on every possible future bull market bet on builders, bet on people putting skin in the game, bet on central ethos of crypto Solana
