RankedAGI is alive again after way too long. I've rebuilt the entire foundation. Ditched Supabase for a custom JSON-based data layer with a dedicated admin system. What used to take hours now takes minutes. The backend friction that was killing my update velocity? Gone.

AI alone is cool. But mastery + creativity + AI hits on a whole different level. Don't let anyone discourage you from pursuing excellence and craft. Keep studying the blade.

Now we're talking!
Introducing Claude Opus 5. It's a thoughtful and proactive model that comes close to the frontier intelligence of Fable 5 at half the price.

I’m a long-time OpenAI user and genuinely like the models and love Codex, so I’m posting this to get help, not to complain. I paid for ChatGPT Pro through August 2. On July 18, I changed my upcoming renewal to Plus, expecting my existing Pro subscription to remain active until the end of the period I had already paid for. Instead, my Pro access was removed immediately. Support acknowledged the issue by applying credit, but credit wasn’t what I needed. I had planned development work around the remaining Pro period and asked for the access I had already paid for to be restored. Three days and several follow-ups later, I still haven’t received a response. More than money, the larger issue here is reliability. Billing issues happen but being unable to get it corrected is what's damaging trust. The interruption has already disrupted five days of planned development work. I also missed a Pro usage reset and may lose another banked reset that is nearing expiry, neither of which is meaningfully restored by account credit. Could @OpenAI, @ChatGPTapp or @OpenAIDevs please get this reviewed? Tagging @thsottiaux and @reach_vb because much of the impact involved lost Codex usage. Existing support Case Number: 11784834 . I can provide any account or billing information needed.

It’s difficult not to conclude that getting help from @OpenAI depends heavily on having a large audience or influence. I’ve now spent 6 days without paid Pro access, with no response from support and no acknowledgement here. Ordinary paying customers should not need public visibility to get a billing and account-access issue reviewed. Case #11784834 remains unresolved @sama @gdb

Final update: After making me wait several days, OpenAI Support finally replied and confirmed that it considers the immediate downgrade and prorated account credit to be expected behavior, despite the published docs saying that Pro would remain active until my renewal date. Support says it can't restore the Pro access, extend it, or offer an alternative adjustment. I’m disappointed, but I’m not going to invest more time or energy into this. I’ll treat the experience as a reliability lesson and reduce my dev workflows’ dependency on OpenAI. Case #11784834 is effectively closed from my side 🙏🏻

It'll be funny if they reset the Fable 5 weekly limits as soon as @OpenAI releases GPT 5.6 to public
We're extending access to Claude Fable 5 on all paid plans through July 12.

Okay guys, vacation over, time to get back to work starting tomorrow 🤘🏻
We’ve received notice that the Department of Commerce has lifted export controls on Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5. We'll begin restoring access tomorrow, and will share an update soon. We’re grateful to our users for their patience, and to everyone who worked with us on redeploying the models.

Sonnet 5 is worse and more expensive than Opus 4.8 🤦🏻 Sonnet 5 low and medium is a downgrade in performance from Sonnet 4.6 low and medium respectively There are absolutely zero reasons to touch Sonnet 5
Introducing Claude Sonnet 5, our most agentic Sonnet yet. It makes plans, uses tools like browsers and terminals, and runs autonomously at a level that just a few months ago required larger and more expensive models.

I think to deal with the recent issues and outages @WisprFlow have changed it's STT model to a much dumber version. This one is misinterpreting so many words. If yes, then Congrats! you've now changed your app from unusable to unusable, but for different reasons.

I take that back. It's now dumb, still slow and unreliable. Also the team never replies here, like they're not on this platform. They have managed to turn me from a super fan to a frustrated user, and the main contributor is lack of communication. @tankots
