Most people have never seen a good tutor.
The five-star version costs 80 dollars an hour and is booked for Thursday. So I wrote down six through eleven. A human cannot climb the last four at any price.
Which rung is your favorite AI tutor product on?
Taughtful is now in Claude Startups.
Took 5 minutes to get approval.
Small startups with not even pre-seed should get in. Saves most on your COGs.
Today we are launching STORY: a new kind of visual where characters act the idea out.
Ask why Troy fell, or how a hill makes a river.
The voice explains, and on screen the characters do the thing as it is explained.
No waiting, no pre-made clip. It plays the moment the lesson needs it.
What is one thing you understood only when someone acted it out for you?

You are not bad with names.
There is a nine second window before you speak where your brain stops recording. An introduction lands right inside it.
It is loading you. So it never hears them.
A Slack salesperson emailed one executive three times. Silence.
So she researched him, found he loved a telenovela star, and paid that star to deliver her pitch on video.
He answered.
Count the I's in your last cold email. Nobody is there to teach you.
If twenty people could receive it, it is not finished.
760,000 students. 91 countries. The daily AI users scored the worst.
But the students who never touched it came second. The weekly users won.
Same tool, opposite results. The variable was never how often. It was what they typed.
"Write my essay" lost. "Quiz me until I get it" won.
Your reader sees five words before they decide.
"Hope you are well" spends all five saying nothing. Half a Stanford class admits to writing it. Every AI writes it too.
A student pitched Bezos twice. The draft that opened with praise lost him. The one that said what it was in a sentence did not.
Delete your first line. Read it again.
“Wait. Explain that differently.”
A learner should be able to say that at the exact moment a lesson loses them.
Taughtful AI: a new way to learn, powered by

Learning began as a conversation. A teacher, a few students, questions going both ways.
Every step since reached more people and lost a little of the listening. The recording lost the last of it. It plays the same whether you got it or not.
Taughtful is video that listens. Say "wait" mid-sentence and the lesson changes for you.
A recording plays. Taughtful listens.
I won a challenge for teaching Claude Code to call me on the phone when it got stuck.
Building it taught me : Claude getting stuck is rare. Me getting stuck on what Claude just said is every day, four paragraphs about my own codebase, two options, and I type "okay do it" like I understood it.
So I flipped it. CodeBridge takes the agent's last answer and teaches it back out loud, on a board it draws as it goes. You interrupt by voice, same as the phone call. Then it writes the reply prompt for you to copy back in.
One command in the terminal you are already in. The lesson opens in your browser. Claude Code or Codex.
Voice belongs in the coding loop. Both directions.
The challenge was sponsored by @DeepLearningAI & @VocalBridge

Eight, nine and ten are live at taughtful.ai today. Nobody has shipped eleven. We are close but have not either.
Learning is a skill. Nobody ever taught it to you.
1. Explain it out loud to a five year old. The moment you stumble is the part you do not understand. The stumble is the diagnosis.
2. Usually the blocker is a word, not an idea. "Quantum amplitude" means the odds that something happens. The vocabulary was the wall.
3. Hang the new idea on something you know. Electricity is water in a pipe. Pressure is voltage, flow is current. Now you are remembering plumbing.
All three are the same move. Force it into plain words and the gaps show up on their own.
You are not a visual learner. Nobody is.
School sorted everyone into three boxes: visual, auditory, kinesthetic. Researchers spent decades testing whether it mattered. Sort learners by style, teach some matched and some mismatched, compare the scores. The matched groups should have won. Study after study, they did not.
Preferences are real. But preference is not power. What you enjoy and what you actually learn from are two different circles, and the overlap is small. The thing that moves the needle is the material, not the label: maps for geography, sounds for music, diagrams for anatomy. Stacking formats beats any single style.
Pick the format that fits the material, not yourself.

If you are one of those who can't read more than a page, DON'T PANIC.
taughtful.ai takes the page (or doc, or video) and teaches it to you out loud, drawing on a live board as it talks. Interrupt it mid-sentence, it adjusts. Reading optional.
In 1984, a scientist found something education still has not fixed.
Benjamin Bloom split a class three ways: regular classroom, mastery learning, one tutor per student. The tutored kids beat 98% of the classroom group. Not the best ones, the average ones. Forty years later it is still unsolved, because 1:1 is what works and 1:30 is what schools can staff.
So next time you are stuck, do not settle for a search bar. Find someone who walks you through it. That is what taughtful .ai is: it talks, it draws, it answers you.
Who explained something to you once that no textbook ever could?

DO YOU SKIP READING AI RESPONSES?
You dont have to... READ IT.
Now you can watch an interactive video of your coding agent's last response and construct your followup prompt as well. ALL IN REALTIME.

WE JUST SOLVED AI ANSWERS YOU NOD AT AND DON'T UNDERSTAND.
Introducing CodeBridge.
It turns any Coding Agent answers into a live lesson that talks, visualises it, and lets you interrupt. Then hands you the follow-up prompt.
