There's definitely a chill in the air now it's October! 🍂❄️ Before you light your fireplace, please ensure that it's swept by a professional, even if it hasn't been used at all this year! 🏠 Have you had yours swept yet? Don't forget to remind your family and friends too!🔥

Across the UK, fire officers are going above & beyond in response to the pandemic. Home Office minister @SusanBaroness spoke with officers & staff from @LancashireFRS to hear how they’re supporting the set-up & operations of various #COVIDvaccine centres across #Lancashire.

Fire at canberra towers Southampton. 24 storey block has recently had retro fitted sprinklers installed. They activated in the kitchen keeping the fire in check and under control so our Firefighters could safely extinguish the fire on the 7th floor. Everything worked as it should

One to check before darkness falls - are your flues, outlets and vents outside your house clear of snow? Make sure they’re clear to prevent any dangerous gases building up #UKSnow #beastfromtheeast
