7/ We also have partnered with leading off-chain data providers in the space such as @coingecko, @KaikoData, @tardis_dev, as well as @SnapshotLabs for web3 governance activity. Conveniently, all these datasets are joined with unique Nansen data for the first time ever!

Tardis is easily the best data vendor. Kaiko is a close second, but it is overpriced. Only reason people use Kaiko is because they have a wider range of data. Although would be nice if the docs for Tardis were easier to understand. Just trying to figure out which exchanges ...

Best crypto historical market data bar none is @tardis_dev Their replay client can give you every raw ws message sent by an exchange across defined number of days.

But also the API is not fun to use, and I want a compressed bulk download form like with institutional vendors where I wait a day and get a 1.3TB file to download, maybe not quite that but still. Tiingo has a nicer API.

1/ Historical Data First step is downloading historical data. For my strategies, I need both trade and L2 book updates which I download from @tardis_dev in csv.gz format.
Building a new backtesting framework that should allow me to quickly prototype orderflow strategies. It will be built entirely in python using cython (or numba) for performance. I will be documenting my progress on here for those interested.

Another fantastic product added to the Partners Programme. Granular, clean, reliable market data is an essential building block to any trading strategy - if you're still building you're own data sources and they're not part of your alpha, then you're doing it wrong.
Partners = opportunities. We’re ecstatic to welcome @tardis_dev to the BitMEX Partners Programme. And to kick off, we have exclusive privileges available to try Tardis for free or 30 days - and save US$300 off a year’s membership: bit.ly/3eDq1Tz
