I just remembered- for the first 8 years of my career, none of my programming jobs involved code reviews. I just shipped shit straight to production. How is the world did that even work?

Running 2x DGX Sparks with a Mini M6 that serves the api for my harnesses. I’ve been preferring DeepSeek 4.1 Flash with Hermes Agent. I’m sharing this with my wife so we can keep our personal data in our house. It’s been great not caring about tokens. Long-running tasks can…

Take a week or more. If the tasks get interrupted it picks back, corrects anything. It’s super nice. I’m also having codex build out new skills for things DS has a hard time with. Sometimes codex directly drives DS so I can watch and learn what instructions work and what

I need to be very precise with. Then once figured out, I can adjust my own process or write a skill. I think for most research and tasks I do, I’ll be able to switch to local.

I don’t think you have a dog in this fight but if you did you would have shot it.
I’ll take @ellalangleymsic over Kacey Musgraves any day. And if I’m choosin’ Texas, I’ll take Ken Paxton over James Talarico.

Imagine being given somewhere around 80 years on a planet floating through an incomprehensibly enormous universe, surrounded by billions of people you will never meet, mysteries you will never solve, places you will never see, and more knowledge than you could absorb in a thousand lifetimes... and spending the whole damn thing worrying about money, arguing with strangers, impressing people you don't even like, and doing something you hate five days a week because somebody convinced you that was life. I don't know, man. I think we may have gotten a few things terribly wrong.

It only takes about 139,000 neurons to parallel park after sufficient training next time you experience the average virginia or maryland driver.

I’m gonna let some agents rip in a codebase that builds an app with lots of users. I’ve set up a bunch of tests, harnesses, rules, safety checks, etc. I’ll just let the agents pull tasks and complete them and then have another do an adversarial review. Let’s say “trivial” PRs…
