Cloudflare does a lot of cool things, but a simple yet cool thing that happened today is they protected all their customers from a critical CVE in @nextjs 🛡️
CVE-2025-29927 allowed anyone to bypass Next.js authentication middleware. The latest versions of v14 and v15 are patched, so if you're using Next.js you should upgrade immediately.
If you're on older versions of Next.js, there is no patch and you should look to upgrade immediately. If that's not doable in the short term, you can opt to reverse proxy your site via @CloudflareDev for free - this protects your site from the CVE, as they deployed a managed WAF rule to all customers that rejects requests attempting to exploit the vulnerability.
This is why I'm a huge Cloudflare fan, it truly feels like they want to build a better internet, and protect it at all costs.
