it’s not quick it’s not fast it’s not always straight forward and you will stumble a lot and lose hope and think what’s the fucking point you end up here again every single time.. and you still gotta keep trying anyway.
this is less advice and more sharing their experience. sorry but it’s true. sometimes you get slapped in the face with the realisation if you don’t do something about it you’ll die, so you start to do something about it.

as a teen I got on a drop tower ride with my baby brother who was only just tall enough for it. at the top just before the drop I checked his belt to show him it was safe because he got scared, checked mine right after and it was unlatched. locked it in 2 seconds before the drop.
