Together again, where they belong. ❤️
This week, Living Legends had the honour of fulfilling the late trainer Mick Burles’ final wish — to have his ashes laid to rest alongside his beloved champion, The Cleaner.
Mick and The Cleaner shared an extraordinary bond, capturing the hearts of racing fans across Australia with their remarkable journey from Tasmania to the national racing stage.
Before his passing in 2018, Mick expressed one final wish: that when The Cleaner’s time came, they would be reunited.
Following The Cleaner’s passing in 2025, we were privileged to welcome Mick’s family and those closest to him to Living Legends for a touching ceremony, where his ashes were laid to rest beside his much-loved mate.
The special occasion was also captured by Channel 9 News, sharing the story of a partnership that extended far beyond the racetrack.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Mick’s family for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful moment.
Two legends, reunited forever. ❤️

I’m closing down Undercovers, my Aussie-made period underwear business.
Main reason = my manufacturer recently closed, I can’t find a replacement here & I don’t want to move it overseas.
70% closing down sale on now, while stocks last. undercovers.com.au
Hard work & subsequent results are paying off! He’s been selling at @inglis_sales for 10 years and finished yesterday as 2nd top vendor by gross. Well deserved @blakeryan86 🤩

Wild to think we lost Nini 5 years ago, it feels like an eternity and in the blink of an eye all at the same time.
You’re never far from my thoughts Nini, we love you today and everyday.

🗣️ @Jo_McKinnon: Why good Thoroughbreds get a bad name.
"The low quality of horsemanship from riders who own retired racehorses is creating a perception that Thoroughbreds are too hard."

Passed away peacefully in his paddock that he lived out his retirement in. Still the record holder of the fastest won Caulfield Cup and a much loved horse till the end.
Get well soon legend @PWMSmurf

Sad to hear one of the most admired Snowy Mountain Brumbies "Matagi" was killed today.
NSW government stated they are required to
"protect fragile alpine ecosystems"
Unless of corse it's renewable energy.
Disgraceful.

This brings a tear 💔As an Essendon supporter, I grew up watching Neale & his brothers, even got to meet him at a training session. An inspiration & a powerhouse in raising funds & awareness for that horrific disease. My condolences to his family, may he rest in peace 🕊️
BREAKING: Footy legend Neale Daniher has died. He was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2013. For more than a decade, he has defied the odds, fought the beast, and helped raise more than $140 million through the Big Freeze.
