Watching the @dallascowboys struggle two weeks in a row reminded me of why we as a Jets offense were terrible in back to back afc championship games in '09' and '10'....mid OC by the name of Brian Schottenheimer.

Jalen Hurts was overseas, under-rested and dealing with a blood clot while playing without key offensive weapons at his disposal and ran the ball only twice (maybe as a way of self-preservation knowing what he was dealing with). Just one question: Why?
#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs, has been undergoing tests for days.
Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played without having slept.

#Giants QB J.J. McCarthy threw for 243 yards in the 4th quarter despite coming off the bench. It’s the most passing yards in a 4th quarter by any player this season and the 2nd-most passing yards in a 4th quarter by any QB who didn't start over the last 25 seasons.

An MRI confirmed a season-ending torn right Achilles tendon for Ben Simmons. A devastating turn of events on the eve of his NBA return after rehabilitating from back surgeries.

The run that almost recovered a win for the #Giants. The longest scramble of J.J McCarthy ‘s career:
Just came up short at the end running out of clock as Drew Brees eloquently explained with the situation that cost NYG 1:00 of time they needed in the final ticks of the game..

Not a single team stayed put in this week’s AP Top 25.
Miami is No. 1 for the first time since 2002 and BYU climbs to No. 2 after a historic weekend of upsets. See where your team landed: apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-col…

I watch these college quarterbacks and think that Joe Flacco might have a job in the NFL until he’s 73.

No need to go on IR unless you’re going on blood thinners, so don’t be surprised when the next news is that his season is over

Breaking: After consultations with numerous doctors and experts that went into Saturday, the Eagles are placing quarterback Jalen Hurts on injured reserve, sources tell @rapsheet and me. The move will sideline Hurts indefinitely.
More info to come.

Sprint out with the game on the line. Cutting off half of the field.
Hate the play call.

The #Steelers and #Saints are scheduled to play at Stade de France next Sunday, but it's at a time of growing unrest across France.
Nationwide protests over rising living costs, education and deteriorating public services drew roughly 550,000 people today, including 110,000 in Paris. The demonstrations turned violent, with fires, looting and tear gas.
The NFL said Wednesday that preparations for the game remain on schedule.
