None of this started on October 7th. It's been continuous, and so must resistance be if we're to ever curb these horrific atrocities. These years will rightfully define us.
Here's a little teaser short from the latest MSW. The full vid will drop soon!

The world as we know it was never the same though, and my problems pale in comparison to the scale of destruction that forever changed and ended millions of lives, the effects we still see weaponized more than ever today.
I'm recalling some of that reflection in this post here.

I was put in so many positions where I was made to feel that I had to prove I was not some existential threat. There were times I would lie about who I was for my safety, claiming I was Iranian, which I'm very disheartened to say would not work today.
But until that day, my ethnicity, my family, and my culture was never an issue on anyone's mind. It all came crashing down around me after. Even as a person who was "fortunate" enough to afford great privilege with my lighter skin, I felt like I was under a microscope after.
9/11 fucked me up in some really unique ways. It's been 25 years of undoing the fear and shame and learning to love myself. Thankfully, I think I've done a great job in spite of everything I've been up against.
It's been five years since that darkest day. My "never forget". That day that will haunt me until my last dying day. I wasn't even there. I wasn't even left behind. I can't even imagine. I'm very lucky my family escaped long before.
I knew that a house of cards built on violent corruption and false promises was never going to last, that I was watching a slow motion train wreck over the span of two decades, but that collapse of hopes and dreams ends up being an atrocity of its own regardless.
