Anytime you read an insane viewpoint on X that seems like a lot of people are agreeing with (for example, invading a sovereign country can be justified): Try and search their name on Linkedin or Instagram and see if they’re actually real people. You will be surprised how much of your worldview is shaped by bots.

After my post earlier today and the absolutely disillusioned and uneducated Americans that replied to it, I understand now how Trump got into office…

Donald Trump picked an unqualified, billionaire wrestling mogul to lead the Department of Education. This is an insult to our teachers and to every kid in America who relies on a good public school education.
BREAKING: President-elect Donald Trump is nominating the billionaire professional wrestling mogul Linda McMahon to be secretary of the Education Department, tasked with overseeing an agency Trump has promised to dismantle. apnews.com/article/trump-com…

“I look like a guy who stormed the capital but I’m not… The people threatening democracy arent black, Muslim, or immigrants. They’re dudes that look like me… This election we’ve got 2 choices. One’s a woman we can work with. The other’s a fascist. bit.ly/4fhzo7G

I know that majority of people are not interested in the Epstein Barr virus, but the Jeffrey Epstein list. I just worry about your precious cerebrum, rather than your preferred celebrity.

I just signed a bill to make this illegal in the state of California. You can no longer knowingly distribute an ad or other election communications that contain materially deceptive content -- including deepfakes.
Manipulating a voice in an “ad” like this one should be illegal. I’ll be signing a bill in a matter of weeks to make sure it is.

Trump is now claiming that Kamala Harris is an illegal alien. Does that mean that Tuesday’s debate will be Alien vs. Predator?

Why continue to assassinate my father’s character, after he already died by assassination, with erroneous information and comparisons? Why even bring him up in this post about a conversation that possibly didn’t even happen? Why not do the initial research and share the truth about his arrests in pursuit of civil rights and the eradication of racism, poverty, and war?
I was in an Uber with a Virginian driver who was talking about civil rights, and said he would never never vote for a convicted felon. I pointed out that the Rev MLK Jr was a convicted felon. There was a pause.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
MLK Jr was never a convicted felon. He was indicted on a felony charge of tax evasion but was acquitted. His jail time was for continuing to demonstrate in the face of an injunction obtained by Commissioner Connor, which was a misdemeanor, not a felony. kinginstitute.stanford.edu/king-convicted… history.com/this-day-in-hi… phillytrib.com/news/across_am… x.com/benryanwriter/… bamsl.org/?pg=BarJournal…
