I’m for civility, BUT civility does not = true peace. I believe in kindness, BUT kindness does not = justice. Be careful not to try to substitute civility and kindness for true peace and justice. Or to try to hinder true peace and justice with calls for civility and kindness.

This is what it looks like to love your neighbors. 🇷🇴🇺🇦
Apparently, thousands of Romanians have been waiting in their personal vehicles to pick up #refugees at one of the NE borders with #Ukraine. I'm not often elated at news from back home, but this makes my heart swell. #StandWithUkriane #standwithrefugees

A hero and and a beloved member of our community @tableokc
If you know @cecejonesdavis you know she’ll hate me saying this — but my goodness, I know a real life super hero. A warrior for justice, righteousness, and agape love. Overwhelmed with gratitude for this gifted woman of God.

so I've found a faith community I actually like quite a bit and they're doing this tonight. Typically it's pretty engaging, filled with a lot of doubts, questions, and challenges. fb.me/e/d9SJ3QknJ

Maybe it goes without saying, but just in case... Beating a police officer with an American flag is not patriotic. It’s also not consistent with the blue lives matter thing. And for the Christians in the house... it is also not Christ-like.

Trump supporters storming the Capitol with Confederate flags and guns should surprise no one. And the fact that the police stood by and watched should also surprise no one.

Apparently, Trump supporters just erected a cross outside the Michigan Capitol. Giant guns and a giant cross don’t belong together. Trump-evangelicalism really is a religious cult. But don’t call it Christianity... it looks nothing like Christ. xitter.cf/VeritasSola/status/134…
