In only a few hours I was able to setup a KMP project that displays a simple list view in Compose multiplatform from a shared view model and api networking layer in the common code targeting iOS, Android and Desktop. This has come a long way over the last few years.👏👏👏

Just realized that with the new SharedTransitionLayout and Modifier.sharedBounds() I can have a Scaffold and TopAppBar per screen and use shared bounds so that the top app bar does not animate with the other screen content. ❤️ Compose

Android folks, I'm looking into converting fully to Compose (removing Fragments) and the only thing I am not certain of is how to replace my current interaction with top app bars. Any guidance out there on how to accomplish this?

Got the Gemini advanced trial last night and now my Magic Compose suggestions are saying there is a limit.. Perhaps not linked but still a bad look to get limited for a $20/m sub for Gemini.

I assume there answer is to use a Scaffold. The thing I am not clear on is how to set the top app bar from Compose navigation. Most guides I have found use the nav graph current destination to set a title in the app bar.

This wouldn't really work for us since we have a lot of top app bars that are more complex than just a title.
