I used Benilla to create a sort of WoW auto chess. You build your AI party and let them rip in the classic dungeons. There’s something very satisfying about watching the LLMs set goals and use JEV to carry them out. They coordinate much better than I ever did hah!

In defense of utils: I like tools that make me feel something in the way how it solves a problem-, not interrupting with dopamine toasts and cute graphics
I love my utilitarian tools, they don't try to cheer me up, they just work and that's what uplifts my mood.
I am done with this shit. It is over. The state of engineering right now is horrible. It has been half a month since I started a new role at a big company. Nobody knows anything here. The specs, code, tests, PRDs, tickets, resolution of those tickets, reports, etc., everything is made by Claude Code. Nobody on my team likes this. They are being forced to ship as much as they can. I have heard multiple times from higher management that pushing code is not a bottleneck, so why are we slow? People are working 12 to 13 hours a day just to press enter. Nobody is reading anything. Humans in corporate are doing nothing on their own. Everyone, literally everyone, from an L1 to an L7 engineer here is doing the same thing. Talk to Claude. There is no sense of victory. Nobody is resolving bugs. In reality, nobody is thinking anymore. Everything is done by LLMs. It is so soul-sucking. I would not mind it, to be honest, if we were at least given the time to check out the code and see what is going where. But no, the goal is to just ship. No matter what happens.

... this is actually not insane
I've seen people describe Jev as an "AI if statement". But what if it actually WAS an if statement?
Introducing Probably: a programming language powered by Jev: probably-lang.southpolesteve…
Jev baked into the language. “feels” asks a question. “match” routes between descriptions. “while” keeps going until something stops feeling true.
This is obviously a toy, but it's fun to think about what something like Jev unlocks. Jev makes the decisions, an LLM does the writing, and a little program ties it together.
So the build we saw at BlizzCon was 1.60.0.69818 and that was pushed on September 11th
The Beta build we will get tomorrow is pretty likely to be 1.60.1.69800 which was pushed on September 14th
I wouldn't imagine there would be any major changes between the builds

How old do we think that beta build was compared to the build we'll be seeing tomorrow? Do we know for certain yet?

Forever team. RP-PVP is a must. There's many of us who enjoy this playstyle and the unique experiences it fosters. This is important for returning players to feel at home, as it is for newcomers to find theirs.
Simple Q: Can we have RP-PVP option for launch please?🙏
She was so happy to talk about servers it was super wholesome

The world's first multimodal world model that generates image and video frames with pixel-perfect camera control and reconstructs them in 3D.
Model the world, move the camera, and simulate space & time.

15 months later and I would probably now describe the Effect docs as 'exemplary'.
Really well laid out, with a great intro, lots of progressive disclosure.
They even have an awesome description of what an Effect is.
An Effect is a value that fully describes a program - what it produces, how it errors, and what it requires.
Great job, pals.
