Most people are in crypto to make money. NFTs gave me a reason to stay beyond the money. I don’t know what happens to InfoFi, RWA, GameFi, memes, prediction markets, or whatever narrative comes next. But if crypto survives, I believe NFTs will survive with it. They made crypto feel like more than charts and speculation. They gave us things to collect, stories to be part of, people to meet, and communities we actually cared about. Yes, most of it has been rugs, scams, and losses. But the few projects that made us feel something? The friendships, the art, the culture, the memories? Those are hard to replace. If I’m still here five years from now, it probably won’t be for the money. It’ll be for NFTs.
