To be fair to Andy it’s a lot cheaper than HS2 and it will definitely make getting to Birmingham by train feel a lot quicker.
Andy Burnbum wants to cap petrol and diesel cars to 50 MPH.
You can still have your petrol and diesel car if you choose. However, Heir Burnham wants to fit a governor to your car so that you cannot exceed 50 MPH.

Just been told by a Minister that there is serious unease in Downing Street tonight that Starmer diverted from his briefing book and went too far in telling the House at PMQs no pressure had been put on any civil servants over Mandelson. “They know that wasn’t true” they said.

As someone who can’t stand the Tories and many of their former prime ministers, I never thought I would say this, but it’s a Labour prime minister that I can’t stand the most. Keir Starmer has betrayed the electorate with snake oil salesmanship and his love of freebies. He has punished farmers, small businesses, pensioners, WASPI women, child abuse victims and students. He focuses more on the corporate class of Davos, BlackRock and Bill Gates rather than serving the people. He’s failed to fix the cost of living crisis and instead deepened it. He’s the diametric opposite of what Labour used to stand for. And all wrapped around that bloody awful po-faced, sanctimonious manner of his. He’s totally disconnected from the mood of the nation. He’s the worst prime minister at exactly the worst time.

It wasn’t just Starmer’s Head of Comms alerted last September. The Independent published a front page splash so everyone was alerted. Are we really supposed to believe no one in No 10 thought they should check if it was true?

Good outcome for a local resident at Brentford County Court. Everyone deserves the opportunity to have their case properly heard and a roof over their head. Now I’ll go get my candidate nomination form filled in - because all residents should have someone on their side.
