#throwbackthursday to the Korg PolySix 😍 Brought to the market in 1981, this warm/soft but brassy-sounding analog synthesizer was and still is one of Korg's most famous synths & was a true milestone for the company. Check out this great Synth Review & Sounds Demo from @synth4ever: youtube.com/watch?v=Wi2ikGTW… At the time of release, the PolySix was a very affordable synth compared to its competition, allowing many the opportunity to get their hands on a proper programmable polysynth with 32 memory patches, 6 voices of polyphony, cassette backup of memory, and even programmable modulation effects and Chorus, Phase, Ensemble!! The voices could even be played in Unison for a 6-oscillator lead sound that was pretty BIG 🤯.
