Huge thanks to @BridgendCollege @LynEvans2 and all the staff, students and volunteers who have been helping to grow devil's-bit scabious plants for our marsh fritillary reinforcement project. The plants will help restore habitat and to feed thousands of caterpillars.
Thank you.

Speaking today to a lady who is doing so much to help wildlife. So refreshing. Manages this verge outside her house & her garden to maximise wildflowers for insects to boost the food supply for her many House martins! Joining up the dots.
Day 30 #30dayswild good day to reflect @30DaysWild Highlight definitely owlets Day 1 but the fly catchers fledging, young master woodpecker, the midi meadow continues to surprise: orchids, harebells, rattling with yellow rattle, butterflies flit through. Stay wild everyday

Day 15 #30DaysWild know I've done orchids earlier, but super excited to find this new orchid growing in the #MidiMeadow @30DaysWild @WildlifeTrusts

Day 9 #30DaysWild found this lovely and a second during #NoMowMay last year. Relocated both to the #MidiMeadow and they're both flowering, hopefully will spread @30DaysWild @WildlifeTrusts @Middle_Marches

Dear Councils, Foxgloves should be growing now, and can be a lifeline for hungry bumblebees. So please don't overmow or spray roadverges and green corners. And a big thank you if you are already prioritising biodiversity over non-essential 'neat & tidy' 🐝
Day 8 #30DaysWild whilst studying the #MidiMeadow found this absolute beauty waiting quietly for dusk @30DaysWild @BBCSpringwatch nature is a gift that keeps giving
Day 7 #30DaysWild while the Owlets branch out, it's important to keep an eye out for trouble @30DaysWild @WildlifeTrusts
Day 6 #30DaysWild and so pleased at how the pond has matured in just one year, full of tadpoles and newts @30DaysWild @WildlifeTrusts
