Campaigning and voting works. @NAHTnews and @NEUnion members, if you haven’t returned your ballot papers please return them this week.
Reports in the @thetimes (below) that the teachers’ independent pay review body is recommending a 6.5% pay rise. The Gov. needs to get to the back to the negotiating table and work out how they they will fund any proposed pay rise and address teachers’ legitimate concerns about workload, recruitment retention and inspection.
