anyways, i'm still here. i think we still haven't praised my best friend enough and rejoiced in what he accomplished on sunday enough so we must continue to celebrate him and do so forever and evermore 🥹💚
i don't know how many twitter breaks i have left in me waiting for jcf to let this insufferable discourse die
becoming the youngest to complete the career slam by defeating novak at the australian open as rafa is watching you from the stands after playing golf with roger at the beginning of the tournament. carlos is writing his story his way, one for the all time history books of tennis.
carlos' ability & mentality to meet a moment is so extraordinary, it makes all his achievements even more special. the bigger the challenge, the better he gets. he lives in the miracle of the present, always prepared & ready to meet the moment, however big & daunting that may be.
carlos has such a beautiful perspective on success and life. i'd probably be high as a kite on this achievement if i just did the single greatest thing a tennis player could do but there he is still so grounded, no air about himself, truly the best human🥹
i love you so much @carlosalcaraz you truly are the greatest gift to this sport, sports in general and if i can be so selfish and say, most of all to me and to my life. thank you for being who you are. ❤️❤️
