Statement from me directly as one of the walk coordinators of yesterday’s PP activity in Darnall, Sheffield. Willing to speak to anyone from the Muslim community directly… Yesterday, following a planned message outside a coach company, we decided on a SPONTANEOUS, UNPLANNED walk down the street shown in the footage. Penned by people as a ‘Muslim no go zone’ whatever the F that is in Britain. Let’s be clear, we were protesting outside a coach company owned by a WHITE woman (not that race matters at all to us), over its involvement in transporting people who have entered Britain illegally. Our concerns are about the impact of illegal immigration on OUR country. Christians, Muslims & every other religion and race who live here. This walk was in no way racist, nor was it an attempt to enter this Muslim ‘no-go zone’ targeting Muslims. Imagine suggesting any British area should be off-limits to people because of their ethnicity or religion. Imagine a white ‘no go zone’ - God forbid. This had nothing to do with Muslims, racism or anything like that. It was about holding the people accountable who support this illegal invasion: We walked through there with intention to go to a certain location relevant to the company, but decided not too. Why? We decided to stop and turn around, to NOT cause further disruption to the streets and locals. As it was 1.5 hour round trip, which is a lot of disruption. We instead turned around and got it ended fairly quick after, to ACTUALLY AVOID it disrupting the local people as it got later in the morning - Who this wasn’t about and we try to limit being affected. All some Muslims seem to be doing here, and every other person who always try to make it about them, is indirectly showing exactly why you ARE in fact causing a problem in our society, when you have this segregated ‘them vs us’ mindset. Rather than stand united and support a cause fighting back against the crippling of our economy and endangering what you claim to be ‘all of our own nation… we’re all British’ - making life harder for us all You immediately segregate yourselves as different, separate from the rest of the nations concerns, the concerns we should all have, but yet again you don’t actually address ANYTHING that’s going wrong in the country. Which we’re trying to do. Who are the divisive ones, who is inciting hatred here against Muslims, you or us? Putting out messages to make other Muslims believe they were targeted by something that had F all to do with them. Is dangerous. I speak with many great Muslims who share our concerns, and fortunately those making these accusations do NOT speak for every Muslim. But there are individuals determined to portray every protest or criticism of immigration policy as an attack on themselves. This is FAR bigger than that now for us. STOP creating division and hatred. We should be working together, not encouraging hostility between communities. The more we look at each other, the less we look at them in government. Stop making this about yourselves when it isn’t, and start focusing on the issues affecting the entire country - including what we see as the establishment and government’s betrayal of ALL British people. I GUARANTEE you something else - I bet not one of you has a single illegal immigrant from Sudan, Libya, Eritrea living with any of you. Too many of them are dangerous people raised in very different worlds from all of us. Your community is just as concerned as us. Darnall belongs to ALL of us, not one sect of society. No law was broken, no crime was committed. Peaceful. Lawful. Disciplined. Now any other person moaning, go cry harder, but actually cry over the truth not made up nonsense that suits your narrative 🙄
