OP shared a story about #SongKang’s high school days. “Pio (Song Kang) was my senior in high school. On the show (on-screen appearances), he was being way too humble, talking as if he had been a nobody and a completely ordinary student all the way through high school. But when Sweet Home became a hit, I heard this directly from one of his teachers. He was good at studying, smart, and a total model student. But his face was unrealistically handsome so apparently, at the beginning of every school year, everyone would come out into the hallway during breaks just to look at him. The teachers back then all encouraged him to become an idol trainee, but since he was such a model student and introverted, they all thought he would succeed through studying instead ㅋ Well, it’s true that you don’t see a face like his very often in Suwon (Song Kang’s hometown) ㅋㅋㅋ But everyone seems to see Pio (Song Kang) as kind of innocent and clueless, yet his teachers were full of praise for him, saying he was good at studying and a kind, well-behaved model student ㅋ 🔗 m.dcinside.com/mini/jeongpio…

Q. If you could say a few words to Pio and Jeongyo, who will live forever in the world of Four Hands, what would you say to each of them? 👤 From now on, Pio and Jeongyo will not be separated again. They will continue to have a positive influence on each other and work together to create beautiful music. They are two people who have nothing left to lose, and even if they have nothing, they will still be happy and free within music alone. Jeongyo probably won’t be able to stop composing. Just like Schumann, who dreamed of becoming a pianist but turned to composition after injuring his fingers from overtraining, and went on to bring happiness to humanity through masterpieces that would stand the test of time. He will probably continue conducting too. After all, genius cannot be hidden no matter how hard one tries. Pio will play the pieces Jeongyo has composed and Jeongyo might scold him again for playing carelessly. But Pio will manage it in the end. After all, no one can play Jeongyo’s compositions better than Pio. Ultimately, the two of them will create another masterpiece that will be remembered for centuries. And if Jeongyo doesn’t give up, he might even be able to play the piano again someday. Just like Leon Fleisher, who began his career as a pianist but switched to conducting after his right hand became paralyzed, then after a lifetime of hard work, released the moving album in his later years. When that time comes, I’ll write them (Pio and Jeongyo) a letter and tell them to stop playing hard to get and come to Korea to perform! #FourHandsTwoSonatas

Q. If you could erase every line of dialogue in Four Hands and leave just one, which line would you keep? And why? 👤 “Freely, just like that day.” I think this line encapsulates the long-standing relationship that stretches back to their past, all the moments in which they become each other’s salvation, and the future they will create together. Their first meeting was so intense that they would never be able to forget it for the rest of their lives. For the first time in their lives, they felt free and happy. That moment was imprinted on their hearts like a seal. They pulled each other out of despair, helped lift each other to greater heights, and ultimately, the two of them steadily make their way toward freedom. #FourHandsTwoSonatas
