#TBT to when we experimented with markerless #AR to bring our very own Drago to life without the toy. 🐉⚡️ #ARKit #ToysToLife #Games #Gaming #ImmersiveTech #Technology #Tech #ThrowbackThursday #KidsGames #SwapBots #Liverpool #Dragon #KidsToys #TechGames #Gaming #Toys

Swap, Scan, Play ⚡ SwapBots bring physical play to life. 🤖 We’re still working on these little critters with new play concepts in development. Stay tuned. #toy #toys #play #AR #augmentedreality #Immersivetech #immersive #indiedev #connectedplay #madewithunity

Today we're gonna throwback to when Kabuto took a trip to his spiritual home of Japan. 🇯🇵 Since then SwapBots have been sent to over 25 countries. 🌍 #TBT #Toys #SmartToys #AR #AugmentedReality #IndieDev

Hearing the news that #CES2021 will be online only in 2021 took us back to previous trips there courtesy of our friends at @hax_co 🔧 Maybe being #virtual will mean the show is more accessible to companies and attendees around the globe? 🌍 #TBT #CESonline #techshow #swapbots #AR

This may be a plain block placeholder, but it shows a new mechanic that we are experimenting with. SwapBots has not had a defence move in battle before, so it's about time we introduced one. #WIP #workinprogress #madewithunity #gamedesign #gamemechanics #gameplay

With a lot less travel right now, we've been digging in the archives and found this shot of Griff in #Seoul #SouthKorea #TBT #ThrowbackThursday #SwapBots #Travel #Memories #KidsToys #Kickstarter #IndieGoGo

Good luck to all the independent eateries opening up this week. We’re lucky to be in #Liverpool where there are so many vibrant spots to hang out. #boldst #boldstreet #mexican #mexicanfood #cafesopen #restaurantsopen #independentrestaurant #hungry #toys #techtoys #connectedplay

#TBT to that time Macho appeared at #WWELiverpool ring-side. He looks at home. 🥊

Kabuto took a lunch-time stroll through Port Sunlight Village ⏰, sights seen in BBC's Peaky Blinders. #WFH #WorkFromHome #SwapBots #AR #AugmentedReality

It’s #TBT time - back to #SwapBots’ first trip to #AWE in 2016. Here a very early Bot combo by a touching tribute to the #spaceshuttlechallenger crew in #LA 🇺🇸 #AWE2020 #AWEOnline @ARealityEvent

More gameplay #workinprogress - this time it's a speedy attack. That's quicker than Sonic! #WIP #GameDev #IndieDev #IndieGameDev #MadeWithUnity🦔⚡️🕹

Flashback to #AWE back in 2016. Next week it's the Augmented World Expo, this time it's online so we won't be in the California Sun ☀️ but will be watching the fascinating talks online. #TBT @ARealityEvent #SwapBots #ThrowbackThursday

Here is the original 3D printed SwapBots. Why didn't we make them this way? Aside from the colour and quality of the image not being good enough to be recognised by #AR - they are solid and heavy. If children start throwing them in the home it would be like throwing rocks around!

Drago is ready for a new week!🐉🤖⭐️ #WIP #workinprogress #game #gamedesign #gamedev #indiegame #indiegamedesign #indiegamedev #AR #backtowork

Here's a #TBT to this mini-game experiment we called Critter Chaos. Tapping the marauding creatures stops them from getting to your Bot. It was a lot trickier than it sounds! #WIP #workinprogress #gamedev #indiedev #indiegamedev #gamedesign #indiegamedesign #ARgame

Time for a little #WIP action. This is an experiment in a new control method. It's not quite #buttonmashing but it's certainly hectic and a lot of fun! Fingers at the ready!🥊💪 #WorkInProgress #GameDesign #GameDev #IndieGameDev #IndieDev #AR #AugmentedReality #Gameplay #WFH

#maythefourthbewithyou - we had to re-spin this #stopmotion video for #starwarsday that features Dusty busting in on Star Wars. 🤖 #bots #starwars #maytheforcebewithyou #skywalker #DarthVader

It's old-school Griff on his first trip to the land of the Eagle - the USA. Right now he's having to #stayhome like the rest of us, but he's a cool customer and is happy to bide his time until his next flight. 🇺🇸🤖🦅✈️ #SwapBotsOnTour #AR #AugmentedReality #MadeInLiverpool #TBT

#stayathome like Dusty! Well, this isn't Dusty's home - he lives in a desert junkyard - but it's where he's holding out during lockdown. ☀️🌵🥀
