Two approaches to building a Banking-as-a-Service platform: 1. Build software infra on top of a partnering bank or 2. Get an EMI license, build your own banking infra and natively fuse it w/software infra. @Swan does this. I think it makes for a better product in the long run.

"Wallet" has become a catch-all term for too many things in Fintech. Google Pay, Crypto wallets, Paypal. At Swan, it gets confusing when clients with quite different types of services use the same word. Some of these would be better described as "keychain" or "cardholder".🧵
