I have very complicated feelings about NFTs. I still believe the technology has value, and the NFT run of 2021 was truly a special time. But five years later, there are few things I find as annoying as NFT discourse on this app.

I don't say this lightly, but @ArbitrageApe might be the biggest no-brainer play I've come across the last 5 years.
In less than 3 days since launch, the project has paid out over $69k USDG to holders.
I've already covered my entire cost basis from the payouts alone. If it somehow manages to keep up this pace, the numbers get ridiculous.

It's a privilege to be in the trenches with all of you.
Everyone should be able to access high-quality financial assets, wherever they live.
That's what tokenization unlocks: taking the best of US capital markets and making them available on a global scale.
The industry is still small compared with global finance, but the advantages are becoming harder to ignore. Traditional market infrastructure was built around fixed hours, closed networks and layers of intermediaries. It was never designed for 24/7 execution, programmable assets, composability or self-custody.
The needs of investors have moved faster than the rails underneath them. We're working to change that.
What gives me confidence is seeing how many different people are now pushing this industry forward. Founders are building new products, LPs are bringing liquidity, traders are finding new uses, and infrastructure teams are making the whole thing work.
It's a privilege to be in the trenches with all of you.
We are still early, and there is a huge amount left to build. It will also take time and effort for the old guard to get onboard. This is worth fighting for.
Reflecting on the @BoredApeYC bag drop, I don't think anyone actually cares about the bag. It was a nice gesture, even if it was poorly executed.
But what does matter is that this club actually meant something to a lot of people these last five years, and it's experiences like today that just reinforce how far its fallen. I think today most apes just wanted to feel they were a part of something and rekindle bit of that old magic, and that's where the disappointment is coming from.
Many of us were there for the mint, the reveal, dogs, mutants, apecoin, otherside, apefests, and plenty of highs and lows in between. It was a lot of fun. Nothing wrong with wanting to feel like you were a part of something special again.
So my hope would be there's still a little magic left in the club. But if it's dead, that's okay, too.
Because in the immortal words of Brian Flanagan: everything ends badly, otherwise it wouldn't end.
