“You are the heirs of great Russia: ... great Russia of Peter I, Catherine II, the great empire ... Never give up this legacy, you are the heirs of the great Mother Russia, go forward with it. ... Thank you for your way of being, for your way of being Russians.”
Who said that?
The fucking pope, obviously. Once again the catholic church is siding with the fascists. Unbelievable, but yeah, that's that.

Figured I'd try switching to Safari as a main browser on this new machine. 2 days in it wouldn't let me load most websites, saying "reloaded bc of an issue". Tried all the things, like disabling extensions and whatnot ... until a full reboot actually fixed it. Like it's 1999 🤣

Due to COVID-19 I'm looking for a job or a freelancing project again. If you know any remote first or remote friendly teams that look for Ruby on Rails/Javascript/Elixir developers with in-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience with distributed apps, please let me know!

Are you looking for an office or know someone who is? Please spread the word about what we can offer 📢
It’s a furnished office in a former industrial building in Kreuzberg (with cool neighbors 😀) and we want to find someone ready to move in this March.

so, yeah, it’s `slice` @rsl, @leanucci ... but still:
```
>> [1, 1].slice(2, 1)
=> []
>> [1, 1].slice(3, 1)
=> nil
# o_O
i think the first one should be `nil`, too. "Returns nil if the index (or starting index) are out of range." docs.ruby-lang.org/en/2.0.0/… @jm @_tankard_ – at Friedrichshain, Berlin
