Dear @bbc, I’ve just applied for my mum’s TV licence, she’s 91 and it’s used up almost a full weeks pension. My dad, to whom she was married for 70 years, had a small occupational pension so she just misses out on pension credit. She can’t watch TV for more than an hour due to 1/
severe arthritis affecting her vision, she likes quizzes and watches The Chase on ITV, that’s all, never watches anything other than that for one single hour per day. She hasn’t heard of @GaryLineker or @ZoeTheBall she just doesn’t understand why she must lose a weeks pension 2/
to pay unimaginable salaries in order to simply have a single hour of entertainment per day #defundthebbc
