People talk about this like it's all Japanese people who think that way, but from my experience, many Japanese people who do stuff like preservation etc. just aren't vocal about it because they don't wanna get in flame wars with weirdos and keep their servers in silence.

A new fan-made PC port of Tekken 6 has sparked a　debate on Twitter: •Japanese critics: It's unauthorized and violates copyright - follow the law. •Western defenders: It's game preservation, requires players to supply game files, ＆ fills a gap Bandai Namco refused to address.

unfortunately a truth I think people find hard to stomach (and rightfully unfair) is that you won't magically find friends by just going out there a few times, you need to try over and over, and you need to make the active effort to reach out first, and yes you'll be rejected and

"its okay if you dont have any friends, just go out to events and dont let it stop you!" goes out to events, and gets stuck sitting by myself awkwardly watching everyone with their friend groups/partners creating memories. this is hell and im living in it
