A brutal postmortem from an early Airtable employee You don’t often get this level of honesty from insiders Many said it’s still a good outcome but they didn’t invest 8 years of their lives and dreams of something bigger

Crazy to think that a company that took 12 years to reach $500M in revenue may make the same than one researcher at TBD Lab working there for four years

Selling to Bending Spoons is an admission of defeat+wanting ANY kind of exit, knowing most staff will be let go after this Airtable raised $1.4B in funding. This exit most certainly means investors get some investment back: founders maybe something. Employees likely wiped out…
We've officially agreed to acquire Airtable for $1.285B! 😍

Got to feel for any current and past Airtable employees. Especially current ones. Bending Spoon’s playbook is to take over operations with their Italian / European team (operating at a fraction of the price), after handover let go most/all of existing staff. Companies selling to Bendong Spoons know this playbook and they sell to get some kind of cash in return and walk away. They do it when there’s no hope to turn the company around

The point most founders should take away from this is that a ~$500M ARR co with a great product and a ton of cash that’s only growing 20% is just not worth much.

Announcing OpenWorker! An open-source agent that doesn't just chat with you, but delivers finished work -- like hand you a polished document, send a slack message, or update a calendar entry. Ask it to prepare a customer brief, untangle your calendar, draft a report, or triage a Slack alert. It works across your files and everyday tools, produces the deliverable, and checks in before doing anything consequential. OpenWorker runs on your Mac, with Windows support coming soon. It does not lock you into any one model. Bring your own API key and run it with GPT 5.6 Sol, Claude Fable, Gemini 3.6, an open weight model (like Kimi, GLM, DeepSeek, Inkling), or Ollama to keep your data local. Your data does not leave your machine except through an LLM provider and integrations that you choose. @rohitcprasad and I are building OpenWorker because AI coworkers are an important way to get work done, and we want there to be an open, privacy-preserving, model-independent option. Check it out and let us know what you think! Try it out: openworker.com (requires your own API key) Source code: github.com/andrewyng/openwor…

Your ChatGPT Work agent can now use websites that require you to sign in. Take over the cloud browser to log in, then let your agent continue the task. Your login persists across sessions, so you only have to sign in once.

Introducing ChatGPT Work, a new agent in ChatGPT powered by Codex and GPT-5.6. It can take action across your apps and files, stay with a project for hours if needed, and turn a goal into finished work. It’s a whole new way to get work done.

We are committed to pushing the model frontier across cost efficiency, capability, and speed. Starting today, we are reducing prices for GPT-5.6 Luna by 80% and GPT-5.6 Terra by 20% , and offering a faster option for GPT-5.6 Sol in the API. Luna and Terra’s lower prices are reflected in how usage is counted in Codex and ChatGPT Work, so your usage goes further.

Claude Cowork is coming to mobile and web. Hand Claude a task at your desk and pick up the finished work from your phone. Close the laptop and Claude keeps going. Beta is rolling out over the next several weeks starting with the Max plan, with more plans to follow.

I tested Airtable's @superagent with a tough prompt (compare the technical strategies of Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic) It turned it into a polished, boardroom-ready report with an executive summary, key findings, a benchmark table, infrastructure and safety breakdowns, and a clean web layout. Video of the workflow 👇

🚀 @airtable launched a new AI product called @superagent that product managers are going to love. It uses a multi-agent system that conducts detailed research and analysis to create rich "Super Reports" for product strategies, competitive analyses, and more! ✨ Check out this demo video of me using it to create a polished Product Strategy Doc for a new product to compete with Productboard, Aha!, and JIRA Product Discovery. 💪🏼 Try it out yourself and let me know what you think at bit.ly/3MdD3ug Use code DAN2FREE for a free Pro trial #prodmgmt #productmanagement #ai

THIS is how AI should be used: Been solo managing the MUI Discord server for a couple months and it’s a goldmine of feedback but HELL to go through. So I crawled our channels ➡️ fed them to @superagent ➡️ got a full report with GH issues and stats: superagent.com?utm_ID=recBGU… #ad

Holy shit... Airtable just launched Superagent and it's the first AI product that doesn't give you text summaries. I watched multiple AI agents deploy simultaneously to solve my business problem in 20 minutes. Here's how it works (in plain English):↓

Content creation just leveled up with AI agents. I just tested Superagent by Airtable, and it’s insane… Instead of doing research + planning + writing manually, you can run multiple AI agents at the same time and get a complete Super Report at the end. What surprised me the most: ✅ Agents work in parallel (faster and more organized) ✅ The report is interactive and easy to explore ✅ It includes cited sources, so it’s actually reliable ✅ You can even generate outputs like docs / slides / websites It feels like having a full strategy team… on demand. This is the best AI tool I have seen so far this year, and everyone can use it. Normally, when you research a topic using tools like Perplexity, Gemini, or ChatGPT, they just give you a wall of text. Try @superagent, a newly launched product by @airtable. It literally builds you an interactive Super Report with high-quality data from a single prompt, ready to present as-is. You can click into research sections, scroll through dynamic graphs, and see visualizations that make complex topics easy to understand. 👉 Use code KUNAL2FREE and get free 2 month access: superagent.com?utm_ID=recj8W… It’s not just a chatbot. It spins up a team of multiple specialized AI agents that build a research plan, divide the tasks, and execute them simultaneously. You can build presentations, university reports, websites, dashboards, you name it! Shoutout to them for sponsoring this post.
