Just sharing this again, I came across this last year I will say it changed how I start so many of my emails over that time.
👏🏼
And just like that, today is 22 years ago since @BreeMateljan and I decided to meet in person instead of just chatting on a message board about The Smashing Pumpkins. 🎃💖
Hey 👋🏼

Heading home after an epic week for #Config2024.
Loved the vibe, the talks and all the new Figma updates.
It's been uplifting to reconnect with some of my Atlassian team, hang with all the new/old friends while in town and meet fellow Friends of Figma community leaders.
🤩
First day of the @webdirections conference was fantastic and day two has kicked off with a great keynote from @mpesce.💡
I’m looking forward to be telling our @Atlassian story of ‘Baking Accessibility into your Design System’ later today.✌🏼

Just a reminder to look after your mental health. ✌🏼
I’ve had a few up and down months, and all caught up with me recently … but speaking openly, regular therapy and an awesome support network around me gets me through it.
Take it easy people.

Greatest Career Achievement.
I’m proud that I’m still sharing my joke that Vanilla Ice is a great workshop facilitator & designer.
1. He reminds teams to “Stop. Collaborate and Listen” in a workshop.
2. He‘s a problem solver “… if there is a problem, yo I’ll solve it.” – at Perth, Western Australia

💡A tip based on my experience reviewing portfolios…
…include only your absolute best and most recent work. Your portfolio only shines as bright as its weakest project.
BTW, I’m hiring! atlassian.com/company/career…

Been bouncing back and forth between Sydney and Perth a few times the two weeks. ✈️
It’s been great to spend more time with the team face to face, while also launch a Friends of Figma community event too … 💪🏼
But, really missed the family, glad to have landed home just now. – at Perth, Western Australia
