ODI and T20 are different games, and T20I captaincy demands a different skill set than his strengths. The franchise form is not a license for national T20 leadership. International T20 sets a higher bar, and overlooking in-form domestic performers sends the wrong message to young players. It isn't too late. Relieving him of T20 captaincy could protect his ODI future, where he fits best. BCCI should also consider him for ODI captaincy on merit, not loyalty to one favored name. Pakistan has done this with @SalmanAliAgha1, a quality ODI batter, yet the PCB's T20 captaincy appointment is hurting both his form and his leadership.
