AI isn't replacing radiologists. It's promoting us to full-time proofreaders. There are at least 4 errors in there. The AI's confidence is impressive. The applause is the dangerous part.
Just asked Claude to do the labelling, and it did it perfectly. Amazing! I fear our prefrontal cortices will become redundant in the near future 💀 #MedTwitter

In all probability, Starlink will soon get approval in India. Please connect the dots and you will understand how this nation is being run and by whom.

"Never feared competition." Sure. Reliance puts 0.4% of revenue into R&D. Why fund a lab when you have a lobby?
Statement from Reliance Industries In light of recent remarks about Reliance and the Indian market, we wish to place the facts on record. Like every Indian enterprise, Reliance has grown in an India that welcomes investment and innovation, homegrown or international, that improve the lives of the people. That openness rests on the rule of law. As the Government of India has stated, it applies the same process to every applicant, Indian or foreign. Jio's own satellite services await clearances. At Reliance, we have never feared competition. We see it as the truest test of who serves the customer best. Jio itself entered India's crowded telecom market in 2016 as the newest player, with not a single customer. In just ten years, Jio has earned the trust of over 530 million customers and given Indians some of the best digital infrastructure and most affordable data in the world. We welcome competition in satellite communications, including Starlink. Every player, Jio included, must serve the people of India and abide by the laws and policies of the land.

Can #Indians just pay taxes directly to #Ambani ? At least we'd know whom to hold accountable.
For the first time - a US secretary of state - is visiting India without any planned meetings in New Delhi. Looks like Marco Rubio took Kamra's advise and is dealing directly with the real boss.

Rubio skipping Delhi and flying straight to Jamnagar is the most efficient diplomacy in years. Why meet the branch manager when you can meet the owner?
Breaking: marco rubio to visit India without meeting PM Modi. Secretary of state marco Rubio is set to visit India later this month for second time this year. Marco Rubio will visit Mumbai and jamnagar oil refinery and will hold talks with indian Billionaire Mukesh Ambani. He will skip a visit to Delhi only 3rd time in history a visiting Secretary of state misses meeting with indian PM. Follow @Globalexplainer

Delhi Cops using goons brought in to abuse protesters. #delhi #Modi_Must_Resign This is the largest democracy of the world 🤦
" SHOCKING " Journalist kept on shouting "This car has Lathis inside, they are carrying weapons.." "Who are these People, Why Police is not Detaining them ? Why not checking their Vehicle ?" Instead, the police officers colluded to let that vehicle leave the scene. One could even say that the police fully assisted those goons in escaping.

This is what electoral autocracy looks like
🇮🇳 Indian police boarded a passenger plane in Delhi to arrest Abhijeet Dipke, leader of the anti-government “Cockroach” movement, before he could attend a protest. The youth-driven movement, which emerged from frustration over unemployment and exam scandals, was planning to demonstrate against alleged electoral irregularities, demanding the resignation of India's chief election commissioner. But, of course, this is India, where criticising the government is always an extremely arrestable offence. Writer: Mhedi xitter.cf/nextminutenews7/status…

A cowardly dictator hiding behind the mask of democracy now stands exposed. Dozens of students travelling to Delhi to protest were detained by police in Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh.

Shocking scenes from the Delhi protest! Alleged BJP-RSS supporters are seen assaulting protesters in the presence of Delhi Police personnel. The video appears to show a young woman being knocked to the ground and physically attacked, while police personnel seemingly fail to intervene. Serious questions must be raised about the safety of peaceful protesters and the accountability of law enforcement under the Modi-Shah government. Who authorised this violence? Why was the woman not protected? And what action will be taken against those responsible? The attackers must be identified and brought to justice, regardless of their political affiliations. @Cockroachisback @DelhiPolice

Yes, they are. "Nobody has ever studied whether MMR causes autism."
They have, repeatedly. It doesn't. Apparently I have to repeat this. Over and over and over again So I will

Even though I’ve started my new practice, I keep getting solicitations from recruiters for emergency medicine Jobs. I tell each of them my rate is $675 an hour. The responses are pretty funny. Before you think that’s too high, what do you think about an attorney who has been out for 20 years and has all that experience? How much did they charge? Sometimes $1000 an hour. The market is set by what physicians are willing to take. As a whole we are absolute morons when it comes to negotiating or business. I’m just trying to help the next generation by creating a data point and an expectation. You don’t slave away and get out in your 30s with $500,000 of debt to make $200 an hour. Everything has become pretty much unaffordable in tier 1 cities. Doctors have willingly become middle-class. Before you say so what, do you really want the person who is operating on you or who is trying to make decisions about the most unfortunate day in your life be motivated by money? No. When I got out of residency 20 years ago, we made enough money to be extremely happy and not money stressed ever. There was too much money it just went into savings. That freed us up as doctors to focus on our art and are calling. Now everybody has a side gig. Now money actually motivates physicians to do unethical things at times. Most do not, but money is high up on everybody’s list of stressors. Money in society is broken. It’s a failing system. It’s always worth less and less overtime which keeps people on the hamster wheel. But the incentives have caused the hamster wheel to run faster and faster and people are being flung off. I’m not saying asking for more money is going to fix anything. I don’t think it will. But the best in the brightest are leaving medicine and the incredible calling which it is has lost so much of its luster because of corporate greed and bloated intermediation. We need to make some massive changes. If we don’t, they will happen anyway but they will be far more volatile. Personally I think it happens through innovation, disruption and physician entrepreneurialism. stop fighting the system, it’s collapsing under its own weight. That’s like trying to repair the Titanic after it struck the iceberg.

Wealth disparity worse than British colonial era can totally explain that
Right now, population is splitting into two groups. One is feeling extremely helpless and the other hasn’t felt more liberated and excited with the possibilities.
