I just created tsconfig.guide, a tool to generate a TSConfig file for your new TypeScript project based on a few user inputs⚙️ It's inspired by @mattpocockuk's TSConfig Cheat Sheet. Check it out!

Anyone dealing with @OpenAI Codex projects on MacOS not syncing with iOS? I’ve removed and renamed some on Mac and none of these translate on iOS

Logging out and deleting the iOS connection have no effect

We have the options of .cursor rules folder, CLAUDE dot md, and now GEMINI dot md files. I feel like there needs to be a standard across all of them otherwise we're going to have 10 md files all containing the same thing
It's wild to me how they are all looking the same now. Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenCode and countless others. I'm not mad though. Fight and compete!

This workflow is insane. Setup Claude app to your GitHub repo, create issues with desired changes, and have Claude understand the problem and open a PR. I don’t even have to have my editor open, I could do this on my phone, and have multiple instances running at the same time

all of the context/changes requested are persisted in the ticket details. Makes it easier to track and reference later. The skill of being able to articulate what you want in natural language has never been more useful

Proper tests and CI are critical for this kind of workflow, even in the early stages of a project/POC. These are your indicators that the LLM didn’t completely screw up the task

My first PR to Babel just got merged, pretty cool!
Babel's monorepo is mostly written in TypeScript, but most of our runtime helpers are still written in JS. Do you want to help us migrating them? 😁 We've split them in 13 groups, to enable working on it in parallel. Take a look at the GitHub issue! github.com/babel/babel/issue…

Fascinating
Netflix’s password sharing crackdown has been a huge success. It helped add ~30m paying users in 2023 (2nd highest year ever). Bloomberg has details on the rollout: ▫️Netflix built a model to differentiate a single user travelling or one person sharing with lots of people ▫️Tested two methods to shake freeloaders: 1) pay per household (Reed Hasting’s plan); or 2) an account could add new users for an additional fee (new Co-CEO Greg Peter’s plan) ▫️Ran A/B test in Latin America, where password sharing was “most widespread” (they found Peter’s method #2 “based on users” led to more upgrades) Full article from Lucas Shaw here: bloomberg.com/news/features/…
