Chad Hugo fires back at Pharrell Williams' motion to dismiss his lawsuit and accuses Pharrell of trying to erase him from The Neptunes ⚖️
In a new court filing, Chad's lawyers argue that Pharrell and his companies control the records needed to identify the music they created during nearly 50 studio sessions between 2019 and 2021. They claim Chad requested those records multiple times but received "almost nothing."
Chad's lawyers also address why eight previously named songs were left out of the latest complaint. His lawyers argue that narrowing the list after further investigation isn't evidence of bad faith. They also say he doesn't need to identify every disputed song at this stage of the case.

🚨BREAKING: The man who shot and killed the 16-year-old gunman inside Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon, has been identified as Kaylub Giamanco, a father whose two daughters attend the school.
Giamanco, 36, a carpenter, was driving home on his lunch break Thursday when he heard gunshots near the school. He saw the suspect moving toward or entering the building, followed him inside, and fatally shot him in a special education room before police arrived. The first 911 call came in at 12:59 p.m. The school went into lockdown at 1:01 p.m. Officers confirmed the suspect was dead, cleared the building, and began treating the wounded.
The gunman, identified as John J. Griffin, 16, forced entry by shooting through locked doors with a shotgun. He killed three children, ages 5, 8, and 11, and one teacher. A 7-year-old and a 54-year-old teacher were critically injured. The suspect’s death brought the total dead to five. Police have not released the victims’ names.
Giamanco’s family says he is not seeking recognition and feels guilty he could not stop the attack sooner. President Trump called him a hero who took care of business.
