lifelong gems for me have been the sims, fire emblem, sao & wizard101. in general im quite fond of nintendo games (tloz pokemon pikmin spltn) but simulation/strategy is where my heart lies...! more recently, umamusume and project moon :) and genshin/hsr for a bit lol (i fell off)

unfortunately my answer to this will be quite basic. essentially, make it happen first, you can make it good later! u just have to Start. studying anatomy and things like that is very helpful, but don't be afraid to play around with things like tracing & reference (contd)

also - the biggest difference you can make as a beginner is to be confident in your lines. drawing longer lines will look better than a bunch of short ones - practice that !! and, crucially, don't feel you need to follow a certain process. i hate lineart so i don't do it!
