So happy anniversary to when Adam Driver, who usually acts like Star Wars doesn't even exist for years at a time, suddenly came out and said he was prepping a whole damn movie about Ben Solo back in 2021

CUTTHROAT ISLAND (1995) a notorious box office bomb that bankrupted Carolco but is still a fun watch.
The stunt where Geena Davis goes tumbling out a window and lands on a moving carriage still looks amazing. Supposedly it's a composite shot but it looks seamless for the time.

続三部作にやり残した事を感じたアダム・ドライバー本人自ら企画で、ルーカスフィルム側も満場一致で2年半制作、最終脚本完成・撮影直前まで行ってたベン・ソロの物語…見せてくれよ

I recently sat down with Adam Driver and came away with some news: He and Steven Soderbergh spent two years developing a "Star Wars" movie that Disney ultimately nixed.

On this day in 1955, J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Return of the King was published, bringing The Lord of the Rings to its conclusion.
Interestingly, Tolkien disliked the title as he believed it revealed too much of the story. He preferred The War of the Ring.

The irony is that Adam Driver's the muse of so many literacy romcoms now & his face is basically on the cover of dozens of novels due to Reylo.
Poor Adam Driver. This is the second time (or possibly more, but it's the second time I've read/heard him share this) that he has expressed wanting to be in a rom com. He seems to work with directors he likes though, so can one of the directors he likes get with the program already and give him a role???

Quero viver num mundo que o Ben Solo esteja vivo e que a Rey tenha um futuro ao lado do homem que ela ama, e não isso não é pedir demais.

Danny Trejo's son posted this about his father's upcoming movie. It's very sad and eye opening
