No one comes for cleaning but most come to take a dip.
They stopped the flow of the Ganga near Har ki paudi at Haridwar for next 18 days just so they can clean it before Diwali. And the moment the water level dropped the truth came out...the entire riverbed is buried under clothes, plastic bags, discarded slippers, and pure filth.
The natural stones that should be there..but completely hidden under our garbage.
Year after year the same story bhakts leave behind their waste the administration stops the water once a year, locals cleans up the mess we created and then we start dumping again the moment the water returns. 😒
You cant revere a river as divine and simultaneously turn her into a landfill.
If this is how we treat the river we claim to worship then maybe we dontt deserve to call her MAA at all.

Everyone in Pune loves to talk about growth. New Metro lines, new IT parks, new projects every quarter.
But ask a student here what their biggest monthly headache is. It is not fees. It is getting from the PG to college and back without bleeding money.
A 5 km auto ride is around ₹100. A bike taxi for the same trip is roughly ₹40. Twice a day, every day. That gap is a thousand rupees a month for someone who is already counting every rupee.
Maharashtra already has rules on paper. What is missing is a working framework on ground, so nobody knows what is allowed and what is not.
Clarity is cheap. Uncertainty is expensive, and right now the student is the one paying for it.

Today we got the possession of defence land for widening North Main Road connecting Koregaon park to Hadapsar Railway Station . This is going to give a great relief to the daily commuters as well as big boost to the connected business establishments.
15 mtrs road now will be widened to 30 mtrs before next rain .
Special thanks to Defence officers of Pune city for their pro-active support.
