Here's a first look at the new Cutefish desktop, rebuilt from scratch and fully independent. Every line rewritten with the incredible Fable 5.1 and Opus 5.5.
Our own Wayland compositor. Our own graphics library. All-new system apps.
And apps launch instantly.

I used Gemini 4 Argon to make Subway Surfers for the new flying Tesla Roadster 🚀
Fly over moving traffic, hit the thrusters to barrel roll in the sky, and collect air power-ups to set a high score.
Play + code below!
Argon has this amazing natural understanding of the world. It can do so many things from first principles.
Here's a pelican riding a bike, using fourier epicycles.
Video made by Argon.

While you debate if you should switch to native, I've implemented iOS Gallery zoom interaction, using React Native and Expo, and feels incredibly smooth.
Recreating this was living in my head over 4 years without paying, now I think it's a good time to show what’s possible.
It’s funny that we still have this React Native vs. native discussion from the early times of it. React Native doesn’t stop you from building a performant app, and going fully native doesn’t automatically give you performant apps either.
You can build performant, delightful things with React Native.
