90% of any book is boring. 90% of any podcast is boring. 90% of any workshop is boring. But your job as a consumer is to get to that 10% that brings you the most value. For that, unfortunately, you’ll have to go through the other 90%. Your success in today’s world is solely dependent on how enthusiastically you are willing to go through the boring stuff. Everytime I see someone complaining about podcasters like @rajshamani and @StevenBartlett on the internet, I simply see someone who is so obsessed with short form content that they have lost their ability to go through long, boring stuff and find that 10% stuff that would change their lives. I believe, the future belongs to people who can learn how to go through boredom for the longest time so they’d would get what is important to them! Period!

Fun fact: Helium is a coolant gas used in data centres. And we are running out of Helium. That’s all for today.

Orkut is back. I support this for two things 1. The words authentic people and real connections. 2. Social media today isn’t real social media anymore. If I have to see posts from my friends I have to search for them as they don’t show up on my feed anymore. P.S.: I hope they still have my old data and will be able to restore the old profile.
