ICE didnβt exist before this century. Itβs not part of the Constitution. ICE is not about immigration. Itβs about making a show of immigration and normalising paramilitary force on our streets.
I believe we need to undo it and build a system that enforces immigration law while respecting the Constitution.

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed: No. You have to have borders that you can control. Thereβs no question about that.
People think ICE is about border enforcement, but itβs not. Customs and Border Protection enforces the border. ICE handles immigration enforcement inside the country.
I went to Minneapolis during the height of Project Metro Surge.
Some of the things I saw, I never thought I would see in the United States of America. We canβt allow that to continue.
