There are at least 50 different angles to this story but the one I find most interesting, likely because of what I do for a living, is this may be the first time any of these AI companies have to pay for the content they stole and used to train their AI models.
A few years ago my old Youtube rep asked me if I wanted to opt in to a trial program google was running that would use my content to train its AI in exchange for money. I asked, "will they just use it anyway if I decline?" and she laughed and said probably. Of course, they did exactly that only a few months later.
Also, why are AI companies using p*rn to train their models? WTF is going on there.... 🤨

Not to defend her but she doesn’t have to adhere to the standards of class for the approval of serfs. She’s married to one of the men that basically controls America. She does not care about your old money TikTok standards 😭😭😭

And this is why I don’t agree when yall say “it’s just the internet”. This quite literally spills over to the next generations. They take it serious. Talk to your little siblings or any younger family members and you’ll see
I just wanna know why these teenage girls think it’s okay to ask these teenage boys for money like they grown men…

Pooh Shiesty is confined to a jail cell for 23 hours a day, and his attorney says the rapper's mental health is being affected.
On Thursday (Oct. 15), Pooh's attorney filed an emergency motion asking a judge to intervene regarding the rapper's confinement conditions at Rolling Plains Regional Jail in Haskell, Texas. According to the motion, Pooh is on a 23-hour lockdown and is only getting two hours of visitation a month. Pooh's attorney says that Pooh hasn't committed any infractions that would prompt the "inhumane" conditions he is being held in.
"Because these conditions are not reasonably related to any legitimate governmental objective, and because the isolation in particular is adversely affecting Mr. Williams’s mental health, he requests that this Court order the Marshals Service to require RPRJ to bring Mr. Williams’s conditions of confinement into line with the standards applicable to federal pretrial detainees generally," the motion reads.
The judge has yet to rule on the motion. Pooh Shiesty's attorney, Kent Schaffer, tells XXL: "The order has not been signed yet but hopefully will be soon. There is no reason to house him under inhumane conditions. He would not be treated this bad after a conviction so certainly he shouldn’t be while presumed innocent."
Pooh Shiesty is currently awaiting trial after being arrested in April for federal kidnapping charges. Prosecutors say Pooh, his father, Big30 and six other men kidnapped and robbed Gucci Mane at a Dallas recording studio in January. Pooh has pleaded not guilty and has been denied bond. His trial is scheduled to begin on Feb. 22, 2027.

Starting an LLC and having a 650 credit score doesn’t mean a bank is handing you a $100K business loan. That’s not how business lending works. Banks look at revenue, cash flow, debt, credit history, and your ability to repay. A brand new LLC with no revenue or assets isn’t automatically getting funded.
And you’re comparing two completely different financial structures. A bank loan has to be repaid regardless of whether the record succeeds. A traditional label advance is generally recouped from royalties, and the label assumes the risk of not recovering its investment.
I’m not saying an artist should sign a bad record deal, but telling independent artists they can simply open an LLC and get a business loan to fund their music is misleading.

The original poster prob wasn't around for this so I'll clarify: the "hip hop all star special" was Arsenio's last show on May 27, 1994. It was a surprise for him. Every artist on that stage was indebted to him bc Arsenio was the only late night talk show giving hip hop airtime.
