Anjali from AISA called me just now .. @neha_aisa was picked up by Delhi Police at Mandi House while on her way to join the тАШLehra Do TirangaтАЩ protest. Taken away alone, without her phone, her whereabouts are now unknown. @DelhiPolice What kind of law and order allows the police to detain a citizen and keep her location a secret? Detention cannot become disappearance. Delhi Police must disclose where Neha is, ensure her access to he r family ,friends and comrades . moreover police should explain the grounds for her detention. @DelhiPolice - remember you are accountable to the lawтАФnot above it.

TOp 3 private banks- HDFC, ICICI and Axis- reporting Q2 results this Saturday Oct 17. Damn unfair, I think. CanтАЩt they spare us the one Navratri weekend we get? Wish SEBI makes a rule banning results announcements on days when stock markets are shut.

Waving the Tricolour at Jantar Mantar in a peaceful protest is not a crime. Jailing youth for it is an act of cowardice. Students. Youth. Journalists. The INDIA bloc. Different banners, one cause. All protests are one: citizens demanding their constitutional rights. Jantar Mantar belongs to the people of India. We will reclaim it.

IтАЩd like to thank every single person who came out today for this protest. I'd also like to thank the millions of people who showed support in their own way at 3pm. Thank you to the leaders of INDIA bloc, all the workers of the Congress party and workers of the INDIA bloc. Today was a very important day because we needed to show the government that the people of India are not going to be intimidated. You cannot beat us, threaten us, frighten us. We will not accept being bullied. I was wondering where the cowards of the RSS who were beating the young children day before yesterday were. Where were those people? Because I didnтАЩt see them. When we are standing there and when the people of India are standing there, why donтАЩt you come out? Why donтАЩt you wear your little scarves and come out and see what happens? Because youтАЩre essentially, like the Prime Minister of India, bullies. You cannot stand up. You can only use power to fight. So, itтАЩs very heartening to see what happened. IтАЩm proud of everybody. Everybody worked like a team. As I said in my press conference, there are no parallel protests. ItтАЩs one protest, and itтАЩs a protest where everybody is standing together. Every single person is going to stand against these killers of our Constitution, these killers of our democracy. And weтАЩre not going to back down. IтАЩd also like to thank everybody from civil society organisations who came, supported us. We value your support, and we love all of you. Thank you all for coming out and defending the idea of India, the idea of the Constitution, the idea of our democracy. IтАЩm extremely proud of every single person who came out on the streets.
