I’m entering hospice today. Will probably update every little if at all. But I wanted to say to be kind, be brave, be principled, be an idealist. Most importantly, be a decent human.
I love that we existed together, in this moment of time.
Having temp sensitivity in my mouth following chemo, and limited on room-temp foods options that work. And I fucked up the carton quantity of this order so bad 😂

So, during my last infusion,
2 weeks ago, my 3rd go with the new cocktail after the previous had run its course, I went into anaphylactic shock: an allergy to one of the meds. I was unable to speak, and my temp jumped rapidly... Nurse Lori noticed immediately.
Yesterday:
Last time I was here, Nurse Lori pulled my ass out of the fire while I suffered anaphylactic shock. Today, she saw me on the chart and said she chose to send a message, should trouble come looking again. I am so gd lucky for these people.

Today is the 2nd anniversary of my debate that’ll go down as the roughest in politics.
Fully expected it’d be painful, but it was a statement about transparency and to stay in the game.
