Be so fucking proud of yourself for surviving all the pain and darkness you've gone through, yet despite it all, you still choose to heal and shine.

types of vacations I need
- a week to deep clean everything I own, twice
- a week to just sleep, then sleep some more
- a week where I don't speak to anyone
- a week where I can cook constantly and never have to clean up
- 2-3 days where I don't have to make any decisions

The older I get, the more I understand why people disappear for a while and focus on themselves.
Getting your money together takes work. Getting healthy takes work. Building a career takes work. Being a good husband, wife, or parent takes work.
Sometimes you genuinely need to lock in.

I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve overextended myself for people more times than I should’ve. Not because I didn’t know my worth, but because when I care, I CARE. I show up, I pour into people, I love hard, and sometimes I give more than I should. Yeah, I’ve hurt my own feelings doing that, but I’ll never be ashamed of having a genuine heart.

No one wants to admit to this but sometimes it is your fault. Your life isn’t going the way you want and it’s your fault. You’ve made some bad decisions or choices and sadly these are the repercussions of your own actions.

I highly recommend working until you can’t. Push yourself to the max. Find your limits and surpass them. It’s how you truly learn yourself and your limits.
