Hearing the news that Ben Simmons tore his Achilles and is out for the season is just heartbreaking.
I don’t care how much criticism you’ve had of Ben Simmons, whether you don’t like him as a player or think his career has been disappointing. You cannot deny that this is heartbreaking.
A guy who worked his a** off to get back to where he wanted to be, didn’t say a word, took two years away from the NBA, and finally made his return.
I thought he played well in the preseason, and to hear this news after everything he went through is just heartbreaking.
I would be sick watching all those points disappear cause I played scared too.

Vugar Usi (@usithetalk), CEO of MEXC, came into crypto from traditional finance. He says he took earlier exchanges from 10-20M users to 120M, and for the last 9 months he’s been doing the same at MEXC.
That meant a rebrand, repositioning, new asset classes, expanded zero-fee trading and the MEXC card.
@MEXC now serves 40M users across 170 countries. He says it’s the one major exchange where most trading volume comes from retail, and the Guardian Fund is being expanded by another $500M.

Towns, who was eligible for a max extension of 5yr/$277M was only offered $200M and was disappointed by New York's offer. Hart on the other hand is eligible for a 4yr/$132M max but has not come close to an agreement with the front office.
The Knicks run the risk of KAT exercising his player option after the season and losing him to unrestricted free agency while Hart has a team option for 2027-28 for $22M.
